What is your level of comfort for clutter?

- Your lamp got knocked off the table and broke. It could be fixed but it’s been sitting there now for 3 months and you’ve forgotten about it.
- How about the “antique” computer monitors that you are saving for parts. They are growing in number and you still haven’t used those parts.
How long should you keep stuff?
You deserve to live in a relaxing home and to work in a clutter free environment.
Let us help you get started!

Sanitation Workers: The First Line of Community Protection & Crime Prevention – Featured Article from johnarwood.com
Sanitation Workers Watching Out For Safety
In a recent article posted on www.johnarwood.com, John Arwood’s personal website, he highlighted several ways sanitation workers could partner with local first responders and law enforcement to help protect their communities.
As the safest communities have learned, partnerships between law enforcement officers and the public in crime prevention are the most effective ways of stopping criminals. Who better to help prevent crime than our very own sanitation workers? They are the workforce who are already in our neighborhoods and communities every day keeping us safe and clean. Garbage men provide extra eyes for police officers and know when something’s out of the ordinary. – John Arwood

Start the New Year with a Clean Slate – 3 Tips to Make this Year the Best!
Your friends at Arwood Waste would like to wish you a Happy New Year!
It’s amazing what kind of impact just a few small changes can make. Use these tips to start off strong and make this a prosperous, rewarding, and productive new year.
#1 Simplify your environment.
Take a few minutes to walk through your home or business and ask yourself, “What can I get rid of here?” HELPFUL HINT: If it hasn’t been used in more than a year, it’s time to go. If you have a newer version, don’t keep the old one around ‘just in case’. Have a stack of half done projects? Make a plan to get them finished. Keeping them around only acts as a reminder of half-fulfilled efforts.
A purge of your physical environment brings clarity and space for vision in the atmosphere of your home or business.
#2 Share your abundance with others.
When simplifying last year’s stacks of stuff, consider what might be donated, recycled or re-purposed. Remember, what you have no need for may be just the thing someone else has been searching high and low to find.
Check out The Recycle Guide for places to drop off your re-purposed items or for more ideas on how to recycle.
#3 Plan space for growth.
You can’t add a new healthy habit, project, or vision to your plate without letting go of an old one. Set yourself up for success with your New Year’s resolutions. Start by evaluating what’s on your plate now. Decide what can be delegated, modified, or simply stopped. Then put that newly found time and energy into this year’s goals and habits.

3 Ways to Appreciate Your Garbage Man During the Holidays
The Holidays are a busy time for everyone and it can be easy to overlook those who serve us year round.
Always prepared, consistently there, in heat or snow, your Garbage Workers make it their job (literally) to dispose of your disposables. Why not show your appreciation to them this season?
1. Give a Gift Card.
Give the gift of a warm drink this year. Perhaps your garbage collector would love to warm up with a hot cup of coffee from your local coffee shop.
2. Sing a Song.
Can’t get that carol out of your mind? Grab a couple of friends and head down to the city sanitation department. Serenade the men and women faithfully working to brighten their day.
3. Just say “Thanks!”
Short on cash? Not musically inclined? No worries! Your garbage man will appreciate your simple “thank you” in person or with a card.
Happy Holidays from Garbage Man Day
Look out for more ways to show appreciation for your Garbage Men and Women during the week of June 17th when we once again celebrate National Garbage Man Day.
